Information, not professional advice

Reviews, pairings and notes on Japanese wine are general information and personal opinion. Taste is individual, and bottles vary by vintage, storage and serving temperature, so your glass may differ from what we describe. Pairings are suggestions, not promises. Wine contains alcohol and is for adults of legal drinking age; do not drink and drive, and avoid alcohol if pregnant or advised against it. Wine can also contain sulphites and other allergens, and some dishes we mention contain nuts, shellfish, gluten or dairy, so check labels and ask a qualified professional about allergies or health concerns. Nothing here is medical advice.

Ownership of content

The articles, tasting notes, layout and original images belong to the operator or are used with permission. You may read them, quote a brief passage with a clear credit to Cavewine and share a page address. Copying complete reviews, republishing guides or using the material for profit requires our written permission.

Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to break into the site, flood it with automated requests, scrape it at scale, spread harmful code or use it for spam or unlawful purposes. We may block access when that is needed to protect the site and its readers.

Messages and submissions

If you send a correction, tasting impression or topic idea, you confirm you are free to share it. You allow us to use the idea to improve Cavewine, without any duty to reply, credit you or publish it.

As far as the law permits, the operator does not promise that the site will be accurate, complete or always online, and is not liable for loss arising from using it or acting on a review or pairing. Changes and severability
